Kaubanan Civic Club — members helping members

Join a Filipino mutual-aid community — give what you can, when you can.

Who we are

The word Kaubanan comes from the Cebuano Kauban — companion, partner, one who stands beside another. We are a fellowship of members who help one another through illness, bereavement, hardship, and disaster, and who volunteer together for the communities we live in.

Our vision

To become the Philippines' leading civic brotherhood that promotes compassion, mutual assistance, volunteerism, and community empowerment through the enduring Filipino spirit of Bayanihan.

How we help

Four ways the Kaubanan Bayanihan Fund shows up for members and their families.

  • KCI Medical Relief Program flyer — a member recovering in a hospital bed, beside the programme's promise of financial support when it is needed most.

    Medical Relief

Member helping member, voluntarily — support from the Bayanihan Fund when illness puts a family in the hospital.

  • KCI Farewell Relief Program flyer — a funeral chapel with a white casket and flowers, beside KCI's promise to stand with the family.

    Farewell Relief

Member helping member, voluntarily — easing funeral costs and standing with a family through their loss.

  • Kaubanan members and volunteers working side-by-side during a community outreach.

    Community support

Members and volunteers showing up for each other across the Philippines.

  • Kaubanan members in a hands-on livelihood and skills-training workshop.

    Livelihood training

Build sustainable livelihoods through skills training, entrepreneurship support, and mentorship.

Built on Bayanihan

For generations, Filipinos have practiced bayanihan — neighbors lifting a nipa hut together so a family can move to safer ground. Kaubanan Club is that same idea, made modern: a community that pools small contributions so any member can be carried through a hospital stay, a funeral, or a hard week.

When one of us is carried, all of us are stronger.

The Kaubanan promise.
